SmartWorks Greater Manchester is an incredible charity, and one that I have been proud to support for the past 5 years.
I care about this charity because of their mission to support, encourage and empower women to gain employment. I got my first job when I was 15 and have worked every year since. My career is so incredibly important to me as it's allowed me to be financially independent, to learn and develop, and to build a life for myself. The support that Smart Works Greater Manchester offer to help women gain employment truly changes lives.
Smart Works is a UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview. They give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives. In the last year, 63% got a job within a month of their appointment.
It is not just about clothes or interview support. For many women, getting a job is a lifeline.
Between the 1st and 31st of March, I will be walking 10,000 steps a day to raise vital funds for Smart Works. I would appreciate anything you are able to give to this fantastic charity.
