Step Up for Smart Works 2025

For many women, getting a job is a lifeline. It is a chance to escape poverty, gain financial stability and restore confidence. In the shadow of the cost of living crisis, there is an intensified need for the Smart Works service.

Smart Works is a UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview. They give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives. In the last year, 63% got a job within a month of their appointment.

Between the 1st and 31st of March, I will be clocking up 10,000 steps a day to raise vital funds for Smart Works Scotland. I'll be walking part of my journey to work every morning, doing Just Dance YouTube videos in the evening, and meeting up with friends at the weekend for a walk with our doggy pals (Molly, Jura, Rowan, Maisie and Bella).

I'm taking part with our incredible team of staff, trustees, volunteers and our friends! I would appreciate anything you are able to give to sponsor us and support our cause, helping women to connect with their potential, get the job and change their lives.
